Hi Listers!

Could anyone help me with the name of the Protestant Church in Stoneham. I have found my "Woods" in the 1851 census. In the margin of the census is written "A Protestant Church on lot #7 in the 1st range built of stone and lime. The roof is shingled and the steeple shingles. Held by only the one congregation and I think it capable of holding 100 persons". Of course this church may be destroyed by now.......but one has hopes!! I suppose these church records could have been transferred to an existing church.
Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I have an old, old picture postcard of Lachute. If anyone is interested, I could I could scan and send.

Carol
