Merita,
If you think that your gg grandmother might have been in Quebec in 1861,
I can look in my database of Kings from the 1861 Quebec census. Most of
the time the census takers used the maiden name of the wife and if the
census taker recorded it, I would have copied it, so it might be in my
data if you think she would have been there in 1861.
