Dear list members,
Mary Sommata (St. Martin) married Thomas Jefferson Hubbard. April 3, 1837.
I am confused on the name Sommata. It is the first time I have ran into it.
Is anyone out there researching the Original French Settlers of French
Prairie? Joseph St. Martin b. 1784 in Canada. came to Oregon in the early
1800's and married a Chinook Indian. Mary (Marie) was their daughter.
Was Hubbard, OR named after Thomas Jefferson Hubbard or a member of his
family?
