I am looking for information on Charles LeGuerrier. We think he came from
Quebec. He was definitely in St. Louis Missouri by 1803. There are records at
the Missouri Historic Society that include bills from Charles LeGuerrier to
madame Chouteau [he had done some carpentry work on her home]. Charles
leGuerrier married Felicite Ortes [sometimes misspelled Hortiz] in St. Louis
Missouri circa 1805. I have not been able to find a record of their marriage,
but I can find baptismal records for 4 of their children.
Does anyone have information on the LeGuerrier family?
