In regards to Linnie's suggestion, I will list the people I am looking for.

Dominick Brissette married Melvena Jerome in Springfield, Ma. on 3/3/1867.
(Reflected in Vital Records book 200, page 37, line 14.) It said both were
born in Canada and were 32 and 21 respectfully. His 2nd and her 1st
marriage. Thy lived in Mittenague. Parents were Dominick and Sophie Brissette and
Ambroise and Adeline Jerome. (I cannot find death records for the young
couple.)

One Alphonso Brissette was listed in the 1880 census as living with his
uncle Eugene Jerome. In the Ma. Vital Records there was one Alfred Brissette
born 2/16/1870 in Longmeadow, Ma with parents Dominick Brissette and either
Dian or Fran. I checked the town's records and could find nothing to add.
I checked with St Mary's church but they had no record of this birth. I did
not trace any further in regards to an Alfred. I did go further with
Alphonse Brissette to recent records.

The other person is Adeline Menard Jerome. (She is the wife of Ambroise and
the mother of Melvena.) She is listed in the 1870 census as living in
Agawam, Ma. I could not find her or her husband in the 1880 census. He died on
2/22/1888 in Agawam, Ma. Listed in book 391, page 384, line 7. It said he
was married but did not reflect whether his wife was alive or dead. I do not
know where he is buried.

I have tried researching the records with the given name and no surname but
did not find anything that could related to those that I am looking for. I
would greatly appreciate any info on this problem. clyde
