Marriage from Ancestry:

Charles Peters, son of Joshua and his lawful wife, Martha Boyd, and Mildred Anne McLeod
daughter of Charles N McLeod and his lawful wife Susan A Gray, were married 01 Aug 1912 at
Methodist Dominion Sqare Church, Montreal.

If you don't have a subscription to Ancesty, I can send the image.

There you have it - the censuses were the correct family.
