I am searching for the marriage of Prudent Poirier and Philomene Ayotte
prior to 1864. They had at least 9 children born at
> St Guillaume d'Upton,Yamaska. TSt Guillaume d'Upton,Yamaskahe eldest

Prudent Poirier is listed in directories in Fall River but by 1900 he is
listed as Francoise Xavier Poirier and died 3 Aug 1900 in Fall River
under that name. This has been a real puzzle. A guess is that he was
born about 1837.

Philomene Ayotte was the daughter of Antone Ayotte/Hayotte and Sophie
Girard and was born 3 May 1840 at St Guilluaume d'Upton, Yamaska.

Any help to solve this puzzle would be appreciated.
