There's also this site that was very helpful & helped me understanding more

http://www.warof1812.ca/imuc.htm The story of "Redcoated Ploughboys" A
History of the Volunteer Battalion of Incorporated Militia, 1813-1815 is
interesting

As for the book "Soldiers of the King" The Upper Canadian Militia
1812-1815 by William Gray, I have it. If someone needs a look-up, just let
me know, I'll be happy to look. My 4th gr. grandfather (Joel Judd) fought
in that war & I have some copies of Muster Rolls. Here are some names that
are mentioned on one of them, maybe it could be useful to someone on the
list. I especially like this one because you get a description of the
person.

It's on the Size Roll of Capt. Thomas Frasers, Company of Incorporation
Militia York 22th May 1814. The information given will be by rank - name
- year born - State, Province or Dominion - County or Riding - What
Regiment of Sedentory Militia - Height - Hair - Eyes - Complexion (I've
been told that they were putting those information to be sure that they
would be paying the right person)
