Hi Nicole,

Found your Joseph Basile as Joseph Homer Bergeron baptized November 26, 1862 born the day before yesterday in St Flavien parish in Lotbiniere the son of Leon Bergeron and Zoe Desault of this parish. Godparents were Francois Xavier Martel and Odelie Bergeron his wife of Ste Croix. Odelie Bergeron and Leon Bergeron sign the register, the godfather declares he is unable to write.

FYI - Bergeron is a fairly common surname in the Lotbiniere area.
