You have it right. He died at the age of 69 June 20 1876 and buried on the
22nd, spouse of Edesse Gendreau. at St-Damase, St-Hyacinthe image 14 of 27
for year 1876

Found on Ancestry the death of Thomas  but (don't use it you lose it is
right) I can't make out most of the info. I think he was buried 22 June 1876
husband of Edesse Gendreau. Died day before yesterday (20)? age ??69??
 It is listed under T Chaput
Any help appreciated.
