Hi all,
I paid about 35 dollars for a USB 3.5 diskette external drive. Works
perfectly and has been a boon in recapturing files and photos I thought I had
lost forever. All I need do is copy the file to my hard drive and it's mine
again.

One reason I have kept my "old" desktop computer with Win XP is that it
still reads the 3.5" diskettes. Of which I have tons. It can also read
CDs & DVDs. Old is not necessarily useless. What size are your
diskettes, Doreen? Maybe someone else can read them and change them into
something useful for you.
