information on Trefle BERARD who was the godfather of my greatgrandfathers & Emily Roy
oldest sister at St Peter's, Vergennes, Veremont



Mary Elizabeth Roussell parents Henri ROUSSELL (RUSSEL) & Aurelie MACON (MASSON, MASON)
12 May 1858 b. ST ARMAND, Canada baptized at the above on 12 June 1859



Godfather Trefle BERARD Godmother Emily ROY (possibly Emily KING m. Oscar Barrows)


Both sides of family came down through Quebec


Presuming there is some significance to both godparents considering there were a lot of family from Henry's side living there...and Aurelie (Orilla) is my brick wall...I was in Vergennes in the puring rain on Monday (10 hours from home)
but with the kids and dog in car I was only able to get Orilla's death record from the rectory and one page with this baptism from the Baptism book...\I was unable to check ROYS or BERARDS in it or if Henry & Orilla served as godparents for anybody
