Explanation from Uncle:)

there are three general reasons for your mail to not get through to the
list, or for you to bounce off the list:
1) You may not have posted in Plain Text.
2) You may be an AOL user and reported an email that pretended to be from
Rootsweb as S P A M.
3) 3) The email service you are using may have a server that is listed in
SOEBS. SORBS is a blacklisting service that blocks reported spammers.
It's fairly easy for an online service (like Yahoo, Hotmail, or AOL) to get
listed. Only the server owner (Yahoo, etc) can get the server delisted.
