hundreds of pages in the judicial archives of the colony.

Battles of epic proportions were waged between neighbours over the
adequateness of squatness; families were divided forever over the early
demise of a promising pork.

Pigs, did, alas, come in all shape and forms. And then as now, caveat
emptpork....
