Hi Florent,

I'm sure we are speaking of the same lady (Margurite or Louise Judith Doucet).
Heaven knows which is her correct name. Maybe all of them!

I have not read the Bergeron book which you referenced. Is it in English or
French? If it's in French, is it a straight genealogy book (which an English
speaker could decipher) or is it more text? I'd like to try and get it from my
library if I think I can read it.

Gosh, trying to figure out relationships between the Acadians makes my head
hurt. Can you please tell me the marriages that produced this relationship? I
have Germain Doucet (son of Germain) married to Marie Landry. Based on that
marriage I can't find any tie to Jacques Bourgeois in my files. But I don't
think I have all the children of Jacques Bourgeois and Jeanne Trahan so that may
be the problem.

Edition Elysee, vol. 3 page 177.

Abraham Dugas (Germain and Marie Bourgeois) married to Louise-Judith Doucet
circa 1647 at Port-Royal, Acadia.
Seems I have the same informations (birth, death) you have for Marguerite then
for my Louise-Judith....

I think Germain Doucet was brother-in-law to Jacques Bourgeois, isn't it?
