According to an old book that I have

Census returns 1666-1881 (Index only)
No census for Joliette in 1851, the first census for Joliette was in 1861.
For the town of Joliette it was in 1871.

I'm trying to locate families in Joliette Co., in this census but nothing
comes up - nor does the county show in the census list. Was St-Paul in a
different county then - or was it just not enumerated?

Any help appreciated.
