I went on line to Ancestry.ca to the Vermont Records (1909-2008) and couldn't find their marriage but did find the following that might be helpful:
Blanche Lamontagne, was born in St. Johnsbury VT on Ocotber 2, 1920 the daughter of Louis Lamontagne Res: St. Johnsbury VT; color white; age 38; born: Sherbrooke PQ; Occupation: Farmer; and Emma Rivers; Res: St. Johnsbury VT; color white; age: 35; born: Newport VT; no. of Children born to this mother 7; Living: 7;
Also found following births:
Alfred Henri Lamontagne; born in St. Johnsbury VT on Jun 19th 1911; color white; No of Child 3rd; Mother: Emma Larivee; born: Lowell VT; Age: 26; Res: St. Johnsbury VT; Father: Louis Lamontagne; BOrn: Canada; Age: 29; Occupation: Laborer;
Beatrice Mary Lamontagne; White; No ov Child 7th; Born in St. Johnsbury VT on 13th of December 1915; Mother: Emma Rivers born in Lowelltown VT; Age: 30; Res: St. Johnsbury; Father: Louis Henry Lamontagne; born: Vermont; Age: 33; Occupation Painter;
Also found death record for Emma;
Emma Lamontagne died Feb 9, 1961 in St. Johnsbury; Born: Feb 8, 1885 in Victory VT; Father: Napoleon River born Granby PQ; Mother: Sophie Polite born: Granby PQ.
