I was also unable to find the obituary of Mary/Marie Alphonsine (Carbonneau) Boileau in an archive search of the Springfield Republican-Union News. As a resident of Springfield, and a former pastor of a parish in the City, I can attest that the Springfield Newspapers Obituary Archive has more holes in it than does Gruyere Swiss Cheese.

I would like to know if someone in the Springfield, MA area could look up the
bituary of Mary/Marie Alphonsine (Carbonneau) Boileau (1911-1998) which
ppeared in the Springfield Union-News on August 17th, 1998. She was the widow
f Lucien Boileau (1916-1981). For some reason, the obituary does not come up in
he online archive search for the Springfield Republican/Union-News.
