Hi Bob,
The only clue that I can offer is that on the Jette page for the marriage
of Joseph CLOUTIER (s/o Charles and Louise MORIN) to Elisabeth MORIN, I
have this pencilled notation "Anne THIBAULT -- see "Corrections to Jette" ...
so I must have confirmed it in that publication.
Just checked that with PRDH and while his mother's name is not on the
marriage contract, Anne THIBAULT is listed as his mother on the couple page.
This leads to another conflict with Jette since he shows a Charles born to
Charles and Anne in 1699 who m. Marguerite GRAVEL in 1721! (Perhaps that's
another correction that I missed?) But the PRDH shows the parents of the
Charles who m. GRAVELLE as Charles and Anne THIBAULT!
Charles and Louise MORIN m. some years earlier (1659) and PRDH doesn't
list a Charles as one of their children.
Now I realize I haven't helped at all! Sigh...
