...Great story. The same thing has happened to me. Since I found the parents of my gg grandfather Cleophas F Roy and have written up the story, a descendant of Cleophas' youngest son has contacted me and we are planning a Roy/King reunion in Rhode Island this summer to share stories.
...Interesting twist: My given name, Charles, has been carried down through the years from my g grandfather, Cleophas second oldest son, Charlie. My new contact in Rhode Island carries the name, William, the name of Cleophas' youngest son, again carried down through three generations. His name of course is William King.
