his marriage states parents as the late Toussaint Viau & Rose Reid
....... ......Rosalie Reid married Toussaint Viau in 1811 and their son
Jean-Baptiste was born & baptized 2 June 1817 ...which would make him old enough to
be listed as " fils majeur" in 1844 ...,. Toussaint died in 1838
