And mahalo!!! Now that many of the records are on the web (i.e. Vermont
Vital records of the the 20th century) I've been combing back through the
documents to ensure the spellings are correct and that I've got everyone
accounted for. The Vermont records are in English. For instance, the
Lefort family left the Coopersville area and, just as they crossed the
border to Vermont, they became Wilfore's. Why they continued in NY to have
the Lefort surname, but felt a need for change in Vermont is beyond me.
Anyway, I need to match name for name, Lefort with Wilfore, etc. Having
fun, however.

I agree with your informant that the girl's name is Aurelia (or Aurelie)
Lefort, but please take note of the spelling. [words in brackets omitted].

Could some kind soul having access to Ancestry take a look at the following
record (page 111, second entry from top left) and let me know what the first
name of the daughter is? I have it from a secondary source that it's
Aurelia Lefort. However, I'm unconvinced. Lefort, yes, first name, big
question.
