Tried to send this before, didn't see it go through, tryin again..
I am doing research on my family Duprey. At this point I am looking for a
Alexis Dupre who came to the US from St Philippe, Laprairie, Quebec. He was
born in 1821. He married a Adelaide Paquette, born in 1822 and came from
the same place in Quebec.
We are looking for a marriage record on the above and have searched in
different areas and can not find one. If they married in Quebec would you
know where I need to look? They had 8 children and settled in Mooers Forks,
NY. Alexis became a US citizen in 19 Oct. 1858. We think he died first and
Adelaide may have gone back to Quebec because we can not find a death
certificate on her any place. Alexis would be my great great grandfather.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Ronald J Duprey
