Subject: [Q-R] Which "dit noms" for LACOUTURE?
Date: Mon, 02 Nov 2009 21:14:45 -0500
Nicole,
Mona is undoubtedly correct when she states that Lacouture is not a dit
name, but most likely it was originally used to describe one's occupation
Here's a list of original families that also used the
LACOUTURE name: DUFORT, CHATIGNY, COCHY,
GONEAU, MAILLY, LIONDRAS
Here's a list of names that CLEMENTs legally used:
BOREL, CHARLES, COLOMBIER, DELISLE,
LABONTE, LACOUTURE, LAJEUNESSE,
LAPOINTE, LARIVIERE, LEONARD, QUENOCHE
Carmen
