Subject: [Q-R] Which "dit noms" for LACOUTURE?
Date: Mon, 2 Nov 2009 10:04:39 -0600

Calling all genealogy angels,

I'm searching for possible dit names for LACOUTURE. So far, I've found
CLEMENT and BAILLON. This LACOUTURE name has a link with Acadian family
names since the parish of St-Gregoire-le-Grand and Visitation de Notre Dame
in Bécancour have a very strong Acadian roots in that region of Nicolet. And
what year was the bridge built that connects Trois-Rivieres and Becancour?
If after 1855, then it's most likely that Louis LEBLANC and Marie LACOUTURE
were married in Nicolet about 1852 but where? Just my theory.
