Hi Doreen and Philip,
I am taking note of both suggestions. I will put Francoise as Poire family
name and see if anything else come thru for her to confirm or not this is
her family name.
Thank you both for your time.
Cheers

Subject: RE: [Q-R] Lookup for parents to Charles Caron
Good Morning:
So I did a little figuring and checked the burial of Francoise which
indicated that she was just age 30 when she died, which gave her a birth
year of about 1808 and a marriage year of about 1828 which sent me looking
up baptisms.
I found a baptism in St. Isidore for a child born 1835, as follows:
St-Isidore (Dorchester) > 1835 - Drouin Image 7
On 23 June was baptized Marie Aubélene born this same day of the
legitimate marriage of Charles Caron, labourer, and Francoise Poiré of this
parish. Godfather is Thomas Roberge and Godmother is Marguerite Plante.
Another child was baptized in 1836 - Drouin Image 6
On 17 August 1836 was baptized Pierre born this same day of the legitimate
marriage of Charles Caron, labourer, and Francoise Poiré. Godfather is
Pierre Maranda and Godmother is Marie Gosselin.
........
Well now we have something to work with, eh?
Cheers!
Doreen
