Another who was operating out of Port Royal was an Englishman named John
Outlaw (Jean Thomas Outelas). He started operating for the English, raiding in
the Hudson Bay. He was commanding the "Lucy" when he was captured in 1684.
by 1691 he was sailing for the French and in 1692 he married Marie Françoise
Denis of ville de Québec. In 1697 he was raiding the coast of the
Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was my 7th great grandfather.
