I am searching for the birth/baptism record for Isabella Chalifoux
(Chalifour, Chalifou). According to her obituary notice she was born about
1798 in Montreal. The notice did not specify whether in the town proper or
somewhere on the island. I believe her father is a Joseph Chalifoux and
worked in the fur trade. I am attempting to find her record in order to
locate the names of her parents. Thanks!
