In the 1763 Mass Census (Acadian list) she is the widow Bourdot.
Automne de 1766 La veuve Marie Richard s'est établie à L'Acadie, au Quérec
She was still unremarried a few months before the marriage date.
Note they were exiled to NEW England (Mass) not OLD England. Please be careful what you get off the web.There is so much old guestimates and some intentional wrong things out there on the Acadians.
