Subject: [Q-R] Where are the Dufault/Dufaux of CO. L'ASSOMPTION?

Hi all

I am tracking a family that was in Co. L'Assomption 1800 to about 1810 and
then they disappear or rather Ancestry is picking nothing on them up!!

I received help yesterday (thanx again all) in finding an important
marriage:

Joseph Dufault married Marie Josephe Lemire dit Marsolet in the St. Roch
L'Achigan Parish in Co. L'Assomption 23 Jan 1804

Joseph Dufault was the son of Nicolas Dufaux & Marie-Louise Roussea

Marie Josephe Lemire Dit Marsolet was the daughter of Joseph
Lemyrre-Marsolet & Marie-Claire Richot

This couple appear to baptise a son Joseph in the same parish, St. Roch
L'Achigan Parish, in 1805

They then have the following children baptised in L'Assomption Parish:

Marie Louise 1807

Louis Charles 1809

Marie Alin 1810

Theotiste 1811

THEN THEY DISAPPEAR.

I have tried a variety of spellings and ways to look for any more entries
BMD for any of the above and I am coming up empty ...

Anybody else know anything about this particular family? Particularly
where they might have went? Or can anybody pick them back up in
Registers'??

Thanks all

Susan
