I have found the birth record for Pierre Boulay son of Antoine Boulay and
Celeste Poutre. On Ancestry it is Oct 8, 1837, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Finding it on LDS same date and parents the name in the margin is Pierre
Langlois.



I understand these are two different sets of records but wondered how this
happened and if some knowledgeable person could explain the difference and
who created what records and if one was copied from another or if both were
created from reported information.
