Mike,
I pulled up the marriage record for Richard Lafreniere & Caroline Neveu. Richard's parents are listed as Charles Lefreniere and Elizabeth LAMENS.
1. I don't understand how you have come up with the name Elizabeth-Lisa SIMMONS as Richard's mother.
2. And I don't understand how you know the marriage was performed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, La Passe, Renfrew, Ontario. Granted there is a note in the record saying, "I think this must be La Passe." But I checked and checked and found no mention of the name of the church. I guess you just know these things.

Hey, Mike. That's super. I figured there had to be a "dit" in there somewhere. Thanks for sharing your eyes. Carol

Greetings to All,
May I please have the marriage record for Richard LAFRENIERE & Caroline NEPVEU (could it be NEVEU?). Please refer to the marrige record of their daughter, Annie, below.
Re: Daniel and Annie. Record shows they were both of age to wed, probably born about 1881 & 1884, respectively.
Annie LAFRENIERE mar. Daniel MCCOSHEN, SEP 11, 1905, St-Pierre, Fort Coulonge, PQ. (I have a copy of the parish marriage).
Daniel's parents: (both deceased) Dan MCCOSHEN & Agnes STLOUIS
Annie's parents: Richard LAFRENEIRE & (deceased) Caroline NEPVEU
Daniel MCCOSHAN died June 14, 1918, age 36 typhoid fever, Pembroke, Renfrew, Ontario. (I have a copy of the physicians register). Says Daniel's parents are Dan MCCOSHAN & Agnes ST. LOUIS.
Re: Lafreneire and Nepveu marriage
For the life of me, I can not find the marriage record in Drouin. And I could certainly use another pair of eyes to help locate it. Thanks so much.
Carol
