here is what I have in the "JETTÉ" page 181:

Thomas Brunet m Catherine Cécire October 17, 1701 in
Lachine (ct on the 16th Pierre Raimbault)
Thomas parents, Pierre Brunet and Marie-Charlotte Cotin
Catherine parents, Claude Cécire and Marie Léger

Children of Thomas Brunet and Catherine Cécire:

1. Catherine born Nov. 15, 1702 She m François Préjean
the 27 September 1729 in Pointe Claire. Ref: Page 944
2. Jeanne born April 08, 1704 and died Dec. 05 1706 in Lachine
3. Élisabeth Brunet born Auguste 24, 1705 in Bellevue
4. Thomas born Abt. 1708 and died April 16, 1709 in Bellevue
5. Suzanne born Abt. 1709 and died Jan. 30, 1710 in Pointe Claire
6. Jean-François born Jan. 20, 1710 in Bellevue
7. Charles born March 26, 1711 in Bellevue
8. Marie-Josèphe born March 23, 1715 in Pointe Claire

Now here the parents of Thomas Brunet on page 180 are listed
as "Pierre Brunet and Marie-Catherine Cotin-Arras

Thomas Brunet was born 18 February, 1678 in Québec City
Catherine Cécire was born December 12, 1679 in Lachine

Wondering if someone can help me out.

Thomas Brunet marries Catherine Cécire in Lachine in Oct 1701. Their
marriage entry in the Lachine Parish Register says his parents are "Pierre
Brunet & Marie Bouché" or her name certainly looks that way on the marriage
entry?

However from what I can find though other sources Thomas' mother is not
Marie Bouché but rather a Marie-Catherine Cottin?

Anybody have the facts for my Thomas Brunet who married Catherine Cecire
(his birth and death) and who exactly his mother then was? I have two
different death dates for Thomas' supposed father Pierre as well and thus
suspect we have two different families of Brunet but I am having a hard time
picking up both then?
