How did you find out that he fought on the British side as a calveryman in
the War of 1812? Did you find this out on the net?

Marquette, Mi. And we have records of his wife, dying, but none of him, but
by the 1860 census he wasn;t on it...
I would love to get some records of him in the war. He fought on the British
