This email is for RootsWeb LIST owners who have subscribed their LISTS to the Global Genealogy eNwsletter.

We are in the process fo reviewing our email eNewsletter sending processes and comparing them to modern ethical standards, prior to making a major upgrade in how we produce and distribute our Newsletters.

The one area that we lack compliance is in our mailings to your LISTS. Even though you agreed to or requested our eNewsletters, and that you are reviewing them prior to forwarding them into your lists, your members do not have an ability to remove themselves individually from our newsletter distribution when it is received via your LIST mail. For that reason we are removing the RootsWeb LIST subscriptions from our email distribution.

Your members are very welcome to subscribe personally to our eNewsletter at no cost to them. The link for them to do so is at: http://globalgenealogy.com/admin/membership.htm

By making this change, those who are on your LIST who do not want the Global Genealogy eNewsletter, will not receive it.

We genuinely appreciate your support and look forward to providing genealogy, history and heritage news in the future.
