I found the birth of Charlotte Merol DOLE, 4 AUG 1887, Somerset Street,
Ottawa ON, same mother listed as married but no father listed on a Statement
of Birth #501641 or #005100 issued 4 OCT 1952 and signed by Charlotte M.
Smith. This certificate indicates her mother was age 24, born Thurso QC

Harold William Smith's death certificate #025841 has the same date of death
you listed, cause of death spleno - myelogenous leukemiamarried, born 17 DEC
1882 London England, age 48y 7m 24 days, Locomotive Engineer, Railroading,
29 years at place of residence, 35 years in Ontario and in Canada, father
John David Smith and mother Mary Ann (looks like surname TIJOU maybe), both
parents born London England, informant was his brother Frank with a North
Bay address.

No luck finding any children's births though. Good luck! Linda
