If they were exiled to Mass., then it could be Blandford, Hampden Co., MA

Some of the Granger family wound up in Connecticut. Descendants of Claude
Granger & Jeanne Guilbault. Their son, Joseph Granger married civily in
Connecticut to Anastasie-Nathalie Doucet and then had their marriage validated in
L'Assomption 1772-09-07. Eventually, some of Joseph's descendants returned to
Mass. and became my neighbors.
