I noticed this a while ago and contacted ancestry. However, the error not been addressed so I thought I would let the list know.
For example, if you pull up the year 1860 from the ancestry index of years under Ste-Mealnie and look at the binding and the actual years recorded by the priest you will see that the year is not 1860 as ancestry has it. It is 1861. There are several years like this. I have been working around this error by reading each acte carefully, but I sure wish they would fix it.
