Hello listers,

It is with much sadness that I inform you of the passing of the Quebec
Armory Museum, last night.

After a valliant effort by Quebec and neighbouring firefighters, the
centennarian landmark museum died of extensive third degree burns.

All that remains of what was once one of the most beautiful buildings in
Quebec City are fragments of its outer walls, ashes, and a few artifacts
saved in extremis from the Louis Riel exhibit.
