Subject: [Q-R] Major-Prevost marriage
Date: Mon, 25 Feb 2008 11:29:08 -0500
Hi everyone,
Looking for one more marriage and I hope you can help.
Michel Beautron-Major and Marie Prévost/Provost,
married about 1825, location unknown.
I have located the family in the 1851 census in Ottawa County,
Petite-Nation. Their oldest daughter, Julie, is aged 25 in this
census, and was married in 1852 in Ottawa, Ontario. Additional
children of this family named in the census are Michel aged 17,
Philomene aged 13, and what looks like Olvie (Olive?) aged 10. Another
daughter of this couple, Christine, was baptised in 1828 in Montebello
but does not appear in the census.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Peggy Youngs
