Hi Dave,
Thanks for the BMS2000 entry but here's the problem I have in connecting the
generations. The BMS2000 shows:
Francois-Charles LEMAIRE (Francois & Angelique BOURBEAU)
Marguerite NIQUET (Francois & Anne GRENIER)
St-Antoine-de-Padoue, Baie-du-Febvre, Yamaska, QC; July 20, 1824

I have looked at the entry in the ancestry.com parish records for
Baie-du-Febvre (1824, Image 17) numerous times and, as often as I read it, I read:
Alexis LEMAIRE (Joseph and ? PROULX) to Marie FRECHETTE (Antoine and Louise
COURCHENE. Can my eyes be deceiving me THAT much?
If anyone can take a look at that record, I'd really appreciate it. The
information given in the BMS2000 is repeated in so many databases that I'm
tempted to believe it instead of my eyes!
