Subject: [Q-R] PAssenger Faires

Someone was inquiring about transatlantic passenger fares. These fares are from British Isles. Grant
Passenger fares ( Not first class!!!!!!) for 1900 on the White Star Line.. Remember..... they owned the Titanic.
McDonald is a town in Washington County (about 30 miles ESE of Pittsburgh) so the fare must also include Railroad fare. Gives some idea of what the immigrants were paying .
Fares on the White Star Line
Liverpool to McDonald $18.40
Queenstown to McDonald $21.40
Glasgow to McDonald $20.80
Londonderry to McDonald $19.60
Belfast to McDonald $19.60
