Mariage
Le vingt huit janvier mil sept cent soixante-onze, apres la publication de trois bans de mariage faite au prône de Nos grandes messes de paroisse, entre Pierre Amable Goin, fils de Daniel Goin et de Marie Magdeleine Valoy, ses père et mère de Sorel, d'une part, et Anne Céleste Rainville, fille de Pierre Rainville et de Marie Jeanne Heu dite Lemoine, ses père et mère de cette paroisse, y ayant eu dispense de parenté au troisième degré en datte du vingt neuf décembre dernier par Messire Marchand, grand vicaire de Monseigneur Notre Evêque, ne s'étant découvert aucun autre empêchement au dit mariage, nous soussigné, Curé, avons reçu leur mutuel consentement et leur avons donné la bénédiction nuptiale suivant la forme prescrite par Notre Mère la Sainte Eglise, ce en présence de Pierre Cournoyer et Joseph Rainville, pour l'époux, et pour l'épouse Noël Carpentier St-Martin, lesquels ainsi que les époux ont déclaré ne scavoir signer, de ce requis, lecture faite, suivant l'ord.

Marriage
On January twenty-eighth Seventeen Hundred Seventy One, after the publication of three banns of marriage done at the prone of Our parish high masses, between Pierre Amable Goin, son of Daniel Goin and of Marie Magdeleine Valoy, his father and mother, of Sorel, on the one hand, and Anne Celeste Rainville, daughter of Pierre Rainville and of Marie Jeanne Heu dite Lemoine, her father and mother, on the other hand; there having been dispensation from consanguinity in the third degree dated twenty-nine December ult.; having found no other impediment to the said marriage, we, undersigned, parish priest, received their mutual consent and gave them the nuptial blessing according to the form prescribed by Our Holy Mother the Church, this in the presence of Pierre Cournoyer and Joseph Rainville for the groom, and for the bride, Noel Carpentier St-Martin, who, as well as the spouses, declared that they were unable to sign, having made inquiry, and done the reading, according to the ordinance. /s/ Filiau, priest
