In the marriage records of his daughter
Marie Catherine Angélique (Montreal,
1730-08-07) and of his daughter Marie
Louise (Québec, 1733-08-11).

I will have a look at the Sorel contract
when I have a chance, as it is the one
and only record which contredicts
everything else (note that Sebastien
Gouin and his wife Louise had a son
Daniel in 1708, who corresponds close
enough to the age at death of Daniel who
married in 1735). And who would be that
other deRainville who would be Daniel's
mother?
