Hi Laurie:
St. Valentin is the name of the parish and Drouin has the records from 1830
to 1967. It is also the name of the location in St. Jean county.

I feel rather foolish asking this question. I have ancestors who were
baptized, married and buried from St. Valentin. St. Valentin is the
name of the parish, correct? What is the name of the town, or is it
also St. Valentin? The county would be St. Jean? The more I search,
the more confused I am. Help! I need to know how to record this in my
genealogy program.
Thank you,
Laurie Bashaw
