Sorry about previous message, sent to wrong list. Joyce
I agree with Nancy about shredding all paperwork that shows our account
numbers but its not necessary to shred things like the ATM machine slips
as far as I understand they don't show your actual account number,
anyway to be on the safe side I have a habit of tearing the number
section in half and putting half of them in one garbage bag and the
other half in my pocket until I come across another bag far away from
mine, hence no need for a shredder. The rest of the paper just goes in
the blue box.
A friend of mine is paranoid and will not let one scrap of paper leave
her house with her name on it without being shredded and nothing I can
tell her will change her mind. I don't feel its worth making oneself
sick over something that won't be the cause of any problems. Joyce

I want to thank you and Elaine for the information on identity theft.
I was one of those people that was somewhat paranoid about how much
information was too much. after reading your e-mail this AM I went out
and bought a good paper shredder. From now on all credit card payments
and statements will be destroyed before putting them in my trash can.
If I don't need to save it in my locked file cabinent it will be
shredded.
