Hi All

Just an FYI to save people from digging on my behalf - I went to Rootsweb
and there, in a tree, it has possibly my link to the Giroux Family in
Soulanges!!

Starting with Jean Olivier Giroux marrying Ann Quenneville in Cedres 1784
-their son Joseph married Archange Leroux 1811 Cedres and they had sons Leon
& Antoine Moyse (who show up on that marriage of Mary Giroux).

Thus I really suspect that Jean Olivier and Ann also had a son Joseph, my
guy, who goes on to marry Elizabeth King somewhere (here or NY State),
sometime (around 1837)!

So now I have a possible family and will now dig, dig dig :)
