Hi : Libby - Jackie Lorie Ardie and Bridget - Thank you all for
your input.

Summing up as I see it as follows:

1900 US census shows Adolphe immigrated in 1885 living in States 15 yrs
and Cordelia immigrated in 1880 living there 20 years. and one son Frank
born 1898

Ten years later on 1911 Cdn census I see a person named Adolphe and
Cordelia with 3 children
(Jimmy age 28- Alfred age 25 and Oscar? age 22) Is this a red
herring/not same family?

Then I have Adolphe and Cordelia on 1920 US census with 6 children
(Violet-17 Charley-16 Oscar-10 Harold-7 Josephine-5 & Dora -1+ all born
in Michigan)

Now if Adolphe immigrated to States 5 years later than Cordelia, is it
safe to assume they were married possibly in Michigan where children
were born, in other words did Adolphe move to Michigan and find Cordelia
there or did they both meet somewhere else, perhaps in Ontario with
other families intent on moving to the States? It would be great if
we could find their marriage, giving their parents names.

1900 US Census shows Michael and Eulalie with 6 children (Michael -
Joseph - Andrew- Maggie - Selina and James) born in California.

Another point - I did rule out the Adolphe in Pointe-du-Lac as being
part of another family line and not related to this one. Am getting
nervous, we seem to be getting closer to closing the link. Joyce Crete
