Hi Susan,

Charles HUS/PAUL (Jean-Baptiste & Marguerite HUS/MILLET)
Marguerite BOUCHER (Jean-Marie & Josette CHEVALIER/DUBEAU)
St-Pierre-de-Sorel, Richelieu; January 7, 1811

And Charles parents:

Jean-Baptiste HUS/PAULET (Paul & Antoinette PETIT/BRUNEAU)
Marguerite HUS/MILLET (Francois & Louise CARTIER)
St-Pierre-de-Sorel, Richelieu; April 21, 1777

Both of these come from the BMS2000. In my Boucher DB I have this Marguerite BOUCHER married to Charles HUS-COURNOYER as you have asked for in your eMail. I expect somewhere along the line someone saw HUS and automatically wrote COURNOYER because they knew it was a dit name for HUS. Unfortunately all of us tend to throw around dit names a tad more liberally than we probably should and they sometimes end up on people who actually didn't use them simply because someone else, possibly not even in their own family, did. I tend to think that HUS-PAUL is the correct name here, but I asm speaking as much from a hunch as knowledge. So... take your pick!
