Dolly-
The free pages of PRDH show a marriage of Jean Gagnon to Charlotte
Gagne in 1782 in La Pocatiere. In 1783 and 1784 that couple had baptisms
in the same place. In 1785 Charles Gagnon and Marie Charlotte had a
child baptized in La Pocatiere.
Beginning in 1786 there is a couple, Leon Gagnon and Charlotte Gagne
who had children baptized at Riviere Ouelle in 1786, 1788, 1789, 1791,
1793, 1794, and 1795. Three children were buried there in 1789, 1791,
and 1793. In a 1790 baptism in Riviere Ouelle, Joseph Leon was the
father.
In 1797 Leon and Charlotte had a child baptized at La Pocatiere and
a child buried at Riviere Ouelle.
It looks like Jean, Leon and Joseph Leon may be the same person. I
then looked for the baptisms of Charlotte Gagnon. There were
quite a few, but the only one whose mother was Charlotte Gagne
was the first child of Jean Gagnon and Charlotte Gagne, baptized
May 9, 1783 at La Pocatiere. If that is the correct couple, his parents
are Charles Francois Gagnon and Marie Josephe Pelletier and her
parents are Joseph Prisque Gagne dit Belavance and Marie Ursule
Ouellet.
In 1805 Marie Charlotte, wife of Leon was buried in Kamouraska.
Hope this helps.
